Look at Me- I Can Bathe Myself at almost 5 1/2 yrs. old!

Here's a photo of Chantel right after she took a bath all by herself. It's about her 3rd one so far. She can shampoo, condition and rinse her hair. She can wash and rinse her body. She dries herself off. She picks out her own clothing and puts them on by herself. She loves to pick color coordinated outfits. She LOVES to be IN CHARGE! She's almost 5 1/2 and ready for Full Day Kindergarten in the Fall! We are so excited for all the opportunities that will bring for her and so is she.
**** Please note, I did 3 more posts today. Don't miss the next 3.

Enjoying some Summer Foods- Watermelon Smiles

Chantel and Daddy love to pose for photos in our backyard at dessert time. We ate dinner out under our huge maple tree today. We enjoyed some Buffalo Burgers, very healthy, low fat meat, sweeter than beef, under 3% fat. We love eating outside even on hot days, but the A/C is the best today when there is a heat warning!

Ralph Climbs a Tree

Ralph is up in the tree hiding from Chantel, sorry it's a little blurry.

Ralph is coming down from climbing the tree to escape from Chantel last Sunday afternoon.

Here is a Video of Chantel singing in the Backyard tonight.

Chantel loves to sing in the backyard. "True Friend" by Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus). She also decides to sing her Bible School Song "My God is So Big". She loves to sing, at home!

By the way, Chantel means one who sings outloud. I must have been the first Chantel because I was always singing outloud, loudly, in our backyard on the Ridge Rd. as a child. I stood on the dog house of our dog, Sargie. Luckily it was flat. Chantel likes singing on the edge of the dog house, on our back porch, or under the tree, anywhere she can get attention.

I love seeing her sing at home. She still will not sing in public. I can't understand why she wouldn't want to sing infront of 400+ people who attend our first service! I do, yes.
